Gotten in an activity rut for your kids? Read this.

Last weekend I spent my Sunday at the LA Baby Show - 1/3 of the time being pampered in the lush VIP area, 1/3 running after my 5-year old son and 1/3 talking to vendors, oh...and meeting the Mayor.

Mayor Garcetti of LA

The whole experience exceeded my expectations. From getting my hair done (Mom Salon you rock!) and make up (surprise!) to having the option of getting my nails done, a fabulous vegan lunch, and even a swag bag of all mama swag bags, I was blown away at every corner.

When I managed to scurry down the aisles of almost 100 vendors with my friends from Goddess Bars and my son, three vendors really resonated with me and I just had to share!

1. Cookies for Kids Cancer: a non profit organization that helps you raise funds through cookies to develop improved treatments for pediatric cancer. There is no better reason to eat cookies than this! Plus with teen star Olivia Sanabia on hand, you just couldn't say no.

2. CityMoms App: The only personalized mobile app helping families discover and book the best local activities, in real time, real quick. Their motto is Play more, search less. Never search endlessly "things to do with kids in X city" again.

3. Little Unicorn: A brand for all things soft and cozy, especially for your little ones. Their blankets are softer than soft. They also carry diaper bags, blankets (did I mention their
B L A N K E T S or cotton muslin quilts?)

Thank you to Momangeles who worked so hard to get this fabulous event off the ground for all the mothers of Los Angeles.
