Exercise makes you feel good. Not only that, but it changes your body on the cellular level and positively affects everything from your health, your happiness, your waistline, your outlook and your capabilities to handle whatever comes your way.
Hence, the birth of the Sweat Once a Day Challenge.
This was created 4 years ago to help you do exactly all that. The problem with exercise or workouts is that most people have a hard time starting. This 15 Minute a Day Challenge takes that issue right out. You will not feel stressed to rearrange your day to fit in a workout. You will not dread finding the energy to move your body. You will no longer loathe trying to do exercises that you feel you can’t.
Instead, you are just going to start. You are going to surprisingly enjoy it and keep going. It’s that simple.
1. We strive to sweat 15 minutes a day for the month of July. Doable right?
2. We post about it in the private group. Someone has to keep us accountable otherwise we are all heading to eat more tacos.
3. We encourage, cheer and celebrate others’ efforts. When you see and hear others doing it, you will too. We truly are, all in this together.
Join us simply by clicking on the group link and adding yourself. Once approved, feel free to add friends, family and anyone you think can benefit from doing this with us. We will start together July 1st ending July 31st. All the details are in the group.
Anyone who has done this challenge over the last 4 years can speak to the power that being a part of this group has. Read what some of our challengers have said over the years and then click on the group to join us. You’ll be glad you did and will be outrageously surprised at what you will accomplish over the course of July.
HOW 15 MINUTES CHANGED ME
"Thanks for a great month! 27 days of exercising out of the 31. It made me realize even just smaller movements like taking walks need to be done and I just need to do it....not make excuses. Thanks!! Good luck to all!" - Krissy Nadel
"I am so proud of husband because this has been the most active I have ever seen since we met 16 years ago. My husband and I did 31 out of 3. It was a great experience. We worked out together for the first time! I will make sure he continues. Thank you Angie and crew." - Sandy Galindo
"Today is a new month and I woke up thinking about what I could exercises I could do before jumping in the shower. The best thing that resulted from July is my desire to keep going for me. I used to only want to workout when I could get to the gym, or run and bike. However the timing of the challenge was perfect since due to an injury I unfortunately cannot do my typical workout. So now my floor at home calls my name. This group was awesome and extremely inspiring. It's a new day and I am grateful." - Tiffany Hancock
"I completed 28 days of the 31! Without this group I would have only done probably 15 at the most - If that! I can now fit back into the shorts that were WAY too tight! I LOVED being a part of this group. I love the way my body feels right now and I can't wait to get moving again when I get the all clear. Thanks so much Angie for getting me moving again." - Ann Williams
"Finished out the month with a 12k step day! 45 minute walk Saturday and got my yoga in very late Friday night. Congratulations to everyone who used this challenge as motivation to keep moving like I did!" - Rosa Rios-Grace
"Despite several days with a heat index between 105-115, still managed to sweat all 31 days! Grateful to have a gym to attend on those brutal days! The challenge motivated me to workout every day- in spite of a fractured right thumb and fractured left elbow and a skinned knee from a hiking fall in June. It was great to have encouragement from the group and to encourage others. I think just seeing everyone's posts kept me motivated and made me want to do more. That was the best takeaway!I will do my own challenge in August!" - Sherry Wright Neighbors
"Wrapped up this incredible month of sweating with some yoga and PT. Loved the daily accountability here!! Thank you to everyone for the pushes and especially to Angie for being the positive, uplifting, strong coach she is!" - Amy Hayden
"Thank you Angie, for giving me the push! I began this day with some upper body strengthening with hand weights. Some back strengthening exercise and stretching. Then off to work. I never would have done that before. A great way to start the day. It's been a great month!" - Laverne Zimmer
"Done! Thank you Angie for this challenge. 25 minutes of yoga to prep for a red eye flight." - Rachel Kitzmann
"Ending July with a run on the beach and an hour of tennis! Thanks Angie for putting this group together again. I'm sure going to miss it until next year!" - Madison Stewart
"Fierce 44 for my second workout today (but with the hubby to motivate me)! Angie, you sure now how to put together a whole body workout!" — Christina and Rob Pettie
